It was never a phase mom 🤣

It's so fun to finally share a little more about myself with you all! Life as a mom to a feisty two-year-old is definitely a wild ride, but it's one I wouldn't trade for anything. Every day brings new adventures, from imaginative play sessions where I get to rediscover the world through her eyes, to navigating toddler tantrums – and let's be real, a lot of coffee helps! Finding that balance between the beautiful chaos of motherhood and carving out time for my own passions is absolutely key to staying sane and happy. It's a constant juggle, but seeing her grow and learning to find joy in the little moments makes it all worthwhile. My furry family is a huge, essential part of my daily joy and comfort. Ziggy and Gunner, my two sweet dogs, are always ready for a walk, a game of fetch, or a comforting cuddle on the couch after a long day. Then there are my four cats, BooBoo, Popcorn, Bear, and Phantom – each with their own hilarious personalities, bringing endless antics, purrs, and sometimes, a little too much cat hair into our home! And my two ferrets, Bandit and Noodle, are just the cutest little mischief-makers, always exploring every nook and cranny and making us laugh with their playful antics. Taking care of so many animals definitely keeps me on my toes, but their unconditional love and unique personalities are truly the best stress-reliever. There’s something incredibly comforting about coming home to a house full of wagging tails, soft purrs, and curious ferret noses. They offer companionship without judgment, which is something I truly cherish. When I do manage to carve out some precious 'me time,' you’ll usually find me immersed in one of my favorite hobbies. Gaming is a huge escape for me – whether it’s exploring fantastical open-world landscapes, tackling challenging puzzles, or teaming up with friends online for some cooperative fun. The sense of camaraderie and shared experience in online gaming is fantastic! If you ever game with me, you'll quickly learn I have a habit of quoting movies, shows, or songs at random moments – it’s just how I connect and express myself in those digital worlds. Crafting is another passion; I love getting lost in a creative project, whether it's knitting, drawing, or trying out a new DIY. There’s a real satisfaction in making something beautiful with my own hands. And of course, there’s nothing quite like curling up with a good book, getting lost in a different story for a while and unwinding from the day. You might often see me sporting my go-to look – usually a comfy black hoodie, often with a cool distressed graphic, paired with my favorite black-framed glasses and a beanie. It’s just my style, no fuss, ready for anything, whether it’s a gaming marathon or a quick run to the grocery store. My lip piercing is just another little touch that feels authentically 'me,' reflecting a bit of my personality. Connecting with others who share these interests – whether it’s gaming, crafting, or just navigating the beautiful chaos of mom life – is truly amazing. It creates a sense of community and understanding that really makes my day and helps me feel connected. So glad to share a piece of my world with you from here in Iowa!
