Exploring pronouns is a meaningful way to honor and recognize the diversity within the LGBTQ+ community. When I first started engaging with pride-related content, I realized how important it is to feel seen and respected in the way others refer to you. The idea of creating unique pronouns for Pride Pals is a wonderful way to embrace individuality and inclusivity. In my experience, pronouns go beyond simple grammar rules—they convey identity and respect. Many people, including myself, appreciate when spaces actively include diverse pronouns beyond the traditional he/him, she/her, and they/them options. This signals openness and celebration of gender diversity. Regarding the game mentioned, guessing the number of pronouns made for the Pride Pals sparks curiosity about how linguistic expressions evolve to meet the needs of the community. Since the article hints the number is less than the total Pride flags, it invites reflection on the many gender identities celebrated during Pride Month. I found that engaging in pronoun discussions helped me become more mindful about asking and respecting others’ pronouns.
