It was time to reorder business cards and I realized I hadn’t updated them in a couple years, so it was time! I like the new square format! I also incorporated the doodles I use in my profile picture on the website. This is the first time we’ve had a card with a printed back and a photo! Ooo fancy! Let me know what you think of the new card!
We’ll have these on hand at Flock Fiber Festival and we even have a new fancy doodad to dispense them to you! Keep your eyes out for a video on that 👀

Updating business cards is an exciting opportunity to refresh your brand identity and make a memorable impression on potential clients and collaborators. Choosing a square format for your cards not only modernizes their look but also sets them apart from standard rectangular cards, catching the eye effortlessly. Incorporating personal elements like custom doodles—especially ones used in your online profile—creates a cohesive brand experience that resonates across both digital and physical platforms. Adding a printed photo on the back adds a professional yet creative touch, making your card stand out in a stack. From my experience, having unique, well-designed business cards is invaluable when attending events such as craft fairs or industry festivals like the Flock Fiber Festival. It not only makes networking easier but also leaves a tangible reminder of your work and personality. Additionally, using a creative dispenser or 'fancy doodad' to hand out these cards adds a fun interaction point that can increase engagement and memorability among recipients. Such thoughtful touches reflect your dedication to your craft and business. For creatives and small business owners, investing time and effort into designing distinctive business cards can significantly boost your visibility. Incorporate elements that link to your brand story, use quality materials, and consider formats that break the mold to truly capture attention and invite connection.
