私が行って「事前に知っておくとラク！」と思ったのは、王子動物園は入口（ゲート）周りがけっこう混みやすいこと。入口にはパンダのイラスト入りの大きい看板があって写真を撮りたくなるので、開園直後かお昼過ぎが比較的撮りやすかったです。ベビーカーの方も多いので、チケット購入や入園の列は少し時間に余裕を見ておくと安心でした。 園内は動物園と遊園地が同じ敷地にあって、子連れだと「動物→ちょっと遊園地→また動物」みたいに気分転換しやすいのが本当に助かります。特にコアラ館はガラス越しに近くで見られて、寝ていてもかわいくて子どもが釘付けに。象の展示エリアでは、タイミングが良いと鼻を上げる姿が見られて迫力がありました。遊園地側に観覧車が見える景色も“ここならでは”で、写真映えします。 遊園地はレトロな雰囲気で、メリーゴーランドみたいな定番があるのがうれしいポイント。のりもの券は「これ乗りたい！」が始まるとあっという間に減るので、最初に家族で“何個乗るか”軽く相談してから買うと無駄が出にくいです（2枚〜のアトラクションが多めの印象）。小さい子向けでも怖がらずに乗れるものが多く、がっつり遊園地というより“ちょい遊び”にちょうど良かったです。 それと、王子動物園は園内にレストランがないので食事計画が大事。私は軽めのお弁当＋足りなければキッチンカーで追加、が一番スムーズでした。座って食べる場所を探す時間もあるので、混む時間帯（お昼ど真ん中）は少しずらすのがおすすめです。 最後に、入口に戻るまでに「もう一回遊園地寄りたい！」となりがちなので、帰りの時間だけは先に決めておくと撤収がラクでした。神戸の動物園で迷ったら、王子動物園は“動物も遊園地も1日で楽しみたい家族”にぴったりだと思います。
