With its rich mix of nuts like walnuts, pecans, and almonds, as well as nutritious seeds such as pumpkin and hemp, this granola is not only a perfect breakfast choice but also a great topping for yogurt or a simple snack on the go. One of the significant advantages of making your own granola is the control over the ingredients, allowing you to avoid refined sugars and unhealthy additives often found in store-bought versions. This nutty granola recipe uses alternatives like coconut sugar and real maple syrup to achieve a natural sweetness. The addition of monk fruit sweetener is another fantastic way to keep it low in sugar while still satisfying cravings. With a cooking time divided into two stages, this recipe ensures that each batch is evenly roasted, maximizing flavor while maintaining the crunchiness of your granola. Remember to watch your mixture in the oven to prevent burning, especially if you include flax meal or hemp seeds. These ingredients not only add texture but also infuse your granola with omega-3 fatty acids and essential nutrients. Finally, for a touch of indulgence, consider incorporating a few tablespoons of dairy-free chocolate chips for a delicious twist. This granola is versatile enough to be enjoyed on its own, mixed with plant-based milk, or tossed into smoothie bowls. Homemade granola can also be stored in an airtight container, making it a convenient option for health-conscious individuals to have on hand. Try this gluten-free nutty granola and experience a deliciously healthy treat that fits seamlessly into your active lifestyle!
