Thanksgiving 2008 Violin Piano Duet, Black Hawk SD

In this special post, I share a glimpse of my Thanksgiving evening in 2008, filled with music and joy. I had the pleasure of accompanying a friend's daughter for a delightful violin and piano duet. At that time, I was using an antique piano that later became a priceless gift to my home studio in Kalispell, Montana. This piano holds much sentimental value as I continue to teach piano lessons with it during my early retirement. The duet included pieces like Bach's Minuet in G, which remains a favorite among students. The combination of violin and piano creates a harmonious blend, perfect for the holiday spirit.
