Hide his mistake or be honest?
My husband made a risky investment without telling me, and we lost a chunk of our savings. What stings more is that he asked me not to tell anyone—especially his family, who are super involved in everything we do.
I get wanting privacy, but it feels wrong to cover for him. I believe in accountability in marriage, not hiding things. He says I’m “betraying” him for even considering telling the truth and that I’m making it a bigger deal than it is.
Now we’re fighting about trust vs honesty. Would you keep your partner’s mistake a secret, or do you think some things should be out in the open no matter what?

he needs to be embarrassed bc he too THEIR joint savings and without consulting her made the risky investment.He shows he can't be trusted
