My second post

My second post:

The caption isn’t much better on this one either but I suppose it’s a process. I’m on a journey of self-love and self-healing w the assistance of the universe. I wanted to add something I’ve “observed”. Although im loving myself, I realize I’m very hard on myself still. Some days I talk Down to myself or beat myself up and I have to catch myself and speak softer and nicer to myself. Living as a single mom in my own place is a lot. I feel like I’ve been on go 24/7 even when I don’t have work. I’m so tired that i don’t feel tired. I’ve lost 9lbs due to stress and when I’m stressed I don’t eat. Besides that I also remind myself daily when things get hard, I have to remember I would always go out of my way and “break my back” for others. So, to feel like something is “too much” when doing it for myself…. I have to change that. I’m looking in mirrors again, I see me. I was unsure of who I was for a good while. Being on this app is like a diary and the support and love from everyone is good energy

... Read moreSelf-love is a vital journey that many individuals embark upon, especially during challenging times. As a single mother, feeling overwhelmed and stressed is common, and it's crucial to recognize the impact of daily pressures on mental health. Finding moments of self-care, whether through mindfulness techniques, journaling, or a supportive community, can significantly improve well-being. Often, we can be our harshest critics, and it’s beneficial to practice self-compassion. Techniques like positive affirmations or setting aside time for self-reflection can help foster a gentler inner dialogue. Connecting with others who share similar experiences can also provide a sense of comfort and community, reinforcing the idea that no one is alone in their struggles. In addition to nurturing yourself, it's essential to establish healthy boundaries. This means understanding when to say no to others to safeguard your mental health and dedicating time to recharge. Remembering to nourish the mind and body through balanced meals, exercise, and self-care can create a positive loop, enhancing your ability to care for others as well. Lastly, embrace the journey of self-discovery. Allow yourself to evolve and grow; each experience shapes your identity. Remember, it’s okay to seek help when needed, whether through friends, support groups, or professional channels. Acknowledging your feelings and embracing self-love can ultimately lead to a more fulfilling life for both you and your loved ones.
