Reasons why having 21 siblings are amazing

Wedding edition! So before you guys even ask any questions, here are some of the answers.

1. My mom did not have all these kids by herself. I am a child of polygamy. My dad had seven wives, he is Muslim, which is accepted in his religion.

2. We all grew up in one home (including all of my moms)

3. Yes most of my stepmoms were at my wedding.

4. I do not consider any of my siblings “half siblings.” we all grew up together in a loving home and our bonded FOREVER. We are all extremely close siblings.

5. no this is not my lifestyle, I have one husband. However, I do not judge this lifestyle for others… It’s just not for me.

Feel free to ask questions, I am extremely open about my childhood experiences and the life of polygamy.

While I cherish my cousins and have many wonderful memories with them, the bond with my 21 siblings is truly unique and profoundly different. Growing up, we shared everything – not just holidays and occasional visits, but daily life, laughs, chores, and the deepest secrets. This constant shared experience, living together under one roof with all our mothers, fostered an incredible closeness and understanding that became even more evident and invaluable on my wedding day. My sisters, for instance, weren't just guests; they were my cheerleaders, my confidantes, and my personal squad, a formidable team of support! I literally had a built-in team of 'personal hypeman (or sis)' for the entire day, making sure I felt incredible, calm, and celebrated from start to finish. From the moment I started getting ready, they were there, navigating every detail, making sure my 'outfits were clean' and perfectly arranged, offering endless encouragement, and creating countless 'super cute' moments of pure joy and laughter. The practical help alone was immense – someone always knew where something was, someone was always ready to run an errand, or just offer a comforting hug. The 'music performances' arranged by my siblings were heartfelt and brought 'emotional moments' of 'pure love' and 'happy tears' to everyone present, adding a personalized touch that only family can provide. And when the reception started, I never had to worry about awkward silences or finding 'constant dance partners all night' – my brothers and sisters kept the energy high, ensuring the dance floor was always buzzing with life and celebration. It wasn't just about fun; it was about having a network of people who understand you on a fundamental level, individuals who have literally been with you since childhood, sharing every step of your journey. They even made sure I 'had my drinks all night,' a small but significant detail that speaks volumes about their attentiveness and care. Unlike some cousin relationships, where connections might be more sporadic or based on occasional family gatherings, my siblings are an intrinsic part of my daily life and identity. Our shared upbringing in one home, immersed in a polygamous family structure, solidified a bond that transcends typical family dynamics. This deep, ingrained connection means that when big life events like a wedding happen, you don't just have family present; you have an army of unwavering support, ready to dive in and make it special and memorable. It's a privilege to have such a large, loving, and supportive family, and my wedding day was a beautiful testament to the strength and depth of those ties. Perhaps the most profound difference between my siblings and extended family like cousins is the shared foundation of our upbringing. We all lived under one roof, navigated childhood challenges together, and celebrated countless milestones side-by-side. This created an unbreakable bond, far deeper than what many might experience with cousins who grow up in separate households and environments. On my wedding day, this meant having 'proud moments' watching them contribute to my happiness, and feeling their collective love envelop me in a way I can barely describe. Every single one of my 21 siblings, whether a brother or a 'sis,' played a vital role, making it an experience filled with 'pure love' and indelible memories. It truly was an amazing and blessed day, made perfect by my incredible, enormous family.
