Another day of showing up for me!

Getting through the waiting process for this surgery has not been easy. It has truly shown me how impatient and anxious I can be, especially seeing as I’m in so much pain!

Today I choose to focus on what I can do and what I can control. I’m choosing to walk in to therapy and build my toolbox so that I can handle this journey with as much grace as possible. It’s not easy juggling a chronic pain condition, injury and recovering from an abusive relationship but it also means I have to choose to show up even when I don’t feel like it. I have to fight for me to get better every single day.

Today I choose to focus on my mental health and have patience with my physical health because I can only do so much at a time!

If you’re struggling like me, hold on! It will get better, we do get stronger but don’t shy away from the work we have to put in every single day to get there!

I’m proud of me and I’m proud of you! Keep fighting! ❤️
