Toddler Breakfast Idea: Fluffy Eggs 🍳
My toddler loves these simply fluffy eggs, they’re so moist and cheesy, they’re also packed with tons of protein.
I’m going to list step by step how I accomplish this to help out the next mom with a picky toddler,
First I start by using a small skillet, then I get a small amount if butter and let it melt at medium heat. I then take 1 egg and 1/4 cup of cottage cheese, a little pepper and a tad bit of seasoning salt, beat the egg lightly.
This is where it got tricky for me, make sure your pan is not too hot, if it is it will burn the cottage cheese. The egg should cook on medium heat for about 5mins (could be longer depending on how many eggs you use).
I hope you try this recipe for your LO my son loves these and he never liked eggs really.
When it comes to toddlers, finding breakfast ideas that are both appealing and nutritious can be a challenge. This fluffy egg recipe stands out for its simplicity and wholesome ingredients. The combination of eggs and cottage cheese not only provides a creamy texture but also delivers an excellent source of protein which is vital for growing children. It helps in the development of muscles, cognitive function, and overall health. For variations, consider adding finely chopped vegetables or herbs to the egg mixture to introduce different flavors and nutrients. Ingredients like spinach, bell peppers, or even some mild cheese can be excellent choices. Introduce new flavors gradually to help your toddler adapt to different tastes without overwhelming them. It's important to remember that cooking eggs for toddlers should focus on safe practices; always ensure they are cooked thoroughly to prevent any risk of foodborne illnesses. Additionally, let your little one join in the cooking process—this can make them more excited to eat what they've helped to prepare. Remember that picky eating is common at this age, so patience and creativity in meal prep can go a long way! Keep exploring different recipes until you find the ones that resonate with your child.
