- the key to this is simply layering. Carve out a space *corners are great for this* and start with the big stickers then ✨sprinkle✨ in your fun stickers
* you can also do this with squares of paper and or small drawings.
Little Doodles
- look up doodles on Pinterest and find something that fits your theme
- Use different sized markers and colors
- the more imperfect the better, doodles soften and make the space more fun.
Add a Fun Title
- use a mix of highlighter and pen to add contrast
- a good start is capitalizing the first letter
- it helps to organize the thoughts for yourself as well
Crack its back!
- use both sides of your journal at the same time
- put a title across both pages
- put something in the center and work around it
Have Fun!
- everyone says this this but that’s the most important part. Don’t worry about everything or even being aesthetic simply express yourself and get out new things
Personally since doing these things I’ve been loving just opening my entries and looking at them. I want to do this with all my entries honestly but it depends.

... Read moreJournaling is not just a task; it’s an opportunity for creativity and self-expression. To elevate your journaling practice, consider incorporating a variety of fun techniques. For instance, using stickers can add a playful touch. Start by choosing larger stickers and layering smaller ones around them in designated corners of the pages, creating a dynamic visual appeal.
Additionally, integrating doodles can personalize your entries. Explore platforms like Pinterest for inspiration on themes that resonate with you. The beauty of doodling lies in its imperfections; it's an art form that enhances the personality of your journal. Experiment with different colors and marker sizes to create an eclectic mix.
Titles serve to anchor your thoughts, so don’t shy away from using bold highlighter and creative pen strokes. Capitalizing initial letters can further organize ideas, making entries clearer. Consider stretching a title across both pages to unify the design and create visual impact.
Cracking the back of your journal—using both sides simultaneously—can help in exploring themes more freely. Placing focal points in the center allows for expansive creativity around them.
Above all, remember that the essence of journaling is fun and exploration. Embrace the process without the pressure of aesthetics. Reflecting on the past entries can also reinvigorate your enthusiasm for journaling. Each page bears witness to your journey, and sharing your creative processes can connect you with others who appreciate this art. Happy journaling!
