Wow, that 8-hour library session was intense, but so worth it for getting ahead on finals! I know many of you, like me, often find yourselves pulling late-nighters or needing to maximize every minute, even during class. So, building on my library marathon, I wanted to share some extra tips for those 'late night study' sessions and how to really make your 'in class' time count, especially when you're juggling so much. First off, for those late-night grind sessions – we've all been there, right? It's crucial to set yourself up for success. Just like I had my study station with my laptop, iPad, and notebook for my finals prep, make sure your late-night spot is comfortable but not too comfortable. Good lighting is key! I also swear by the Pomodoro Technique: 25 minutes of focused work, 5-minute break. This really helps prevent burnout when you're deep into complex topics like physics equations or memorizing details about calcium and zinc regulation. And speaking of fuel, while a delicious sub sandwich is a great treat, for sustained late-night energy, I rely on my trusty water bottle and sometimes a Celsius for that extra kick – but remember to balance it with plenty of water! Keep your headphones handy to block out distractions, whether you're at home or still in the library after hours. Don't forget those mini-breaks to stretch or grab a quick snack; your brain will thank you. Now, let's talk about making the most of your 'in class' time. This is where so much of the learning happens, and optimizing it can save you hours later. For me, active listening is paramount. It’s not just about showing up; it's about being present. Try to anticipate what your professor will cover if you've done the pre-reading. During lectures, my notebooks and highlighters are my best friends. I use different colors to highlight key concepts or questions I have. For instance, when we were discussing calcium absorption or the role of zinc in the body, I'd immediately jot down any questions or connections to previous material. Don't be afraid to ask clarifying questions during class – chances are, someone else has the same question! Right after class, before the information fades, I try to spend 10-15 minutes reviewing my notes. This quick review helps solidify what I just learned and makes my actual study sessions much more efficient. Using this strategy, even a quick mirror selfie of me ready for class helps me feel prepared and focused for the day ahead. It’s all about creating a continuous learning loop where in-class learning feeds into your independent study, making those big finals less daunting. Remember to take care of yourselves, stay hydrated, and you'll conquer those exams! Good luck!

I love it!! Hopefully all finals went good!! What app do you use for iPad notes?
