My favorite college study abroad trip🤍 (so far)

I just got back to barcelona this morning and was so sad to leave my favorite trip (so far) of my college study abroad, so I thought I’d document it on here and share my favorite parts of our itinerary from sorrento, capri, positano, and Naples! I seriously cannot recommend this trip enough; I refused to leave Italy! We had the best food, met the most amazing locals, and saw the most breathtaking sights on our boat tour to capri. The coastal beauty of Sorrento, with its stunning cliffs and delicious cuisine, offers a perfect base to explore nearby locations. A highlight of the trip was our seven-hour boat tour to Capri Island, where we enjoyed crystal-clear waters and the famous Blue Grotto. Positano, with its vibrant cliffside villages, captivates visitors with its scenic views and charming streets lined with local boutiques. Riding Vespas through Sorrento was an exhilarating experience and a unique way to soak in the charming atmosphere. This journey not only enriched my cultural exposure but also allowed me to connect with locals, from who I learned about regional delicacies and traditions. Food played an essential role, as we savored authentic pizza in Naples and enjoyed gelato by the seaside. I highly encourage anyone contemplating a study abroad experience to consider Italy, as the blend of history, art, and gastronomy creates an enriching environment for learning and exploration.
