Pan Pride!!
Gearing up to post these cute hearts on my etsy this Friday!!! I do want to add more to the listing before it goes live. What’s another flag I should do? #crochet #crochetcommunity #crochetersoflemon8 #hearts #valentinesday New Jersey
I'm so incredibly excited about these Pan Pride crochet hearts I'm working on! They're not just cute little decorations; for me, they represent a beautiful way to express identity and add a splash of vibrant Pansexual pride aesthetic to any space. I've been thinking about all the ways these handmade beauties can brighten up a room or even become a subtle statement piece. Imagine them hanging on a corkboard, adorning a backpack, or even nestled among houseplants – a perfect little touch of pride that speaks volumes without saying a word. Creating these hearts has been such a joyful process, and it really got me thinking about the power of pride crafts. While mine are ready-made, crafting your own pride symbols, whether it's for yourself, friends, or even as a family activity, is incredibly empowering. It's a wonderful way to teach about acceptance and diversity, making it a fantastic activity for all ages. Maybe not directly 'pride crafts for kids' in the sense of making them, but definitely something that can inspire younger generations to embrace crafting their identity and spreading love. These hearts could be a starting point for discussions or even inspire others to try their hand at crochet or other craft projects! One of the things I love about these small crochet hearts is how versatile they are, especially for those who appreciate a more subtle way to display their pride. Not everyone wants a huge flag, and that's totally okay! These hearts can be a 'hidden pan' gem – a little nod to your identity or support that only those truly looking will recognize. It's like having a special secret, a charming detail that adds personality. You can attach them to a keyring, use them as bookmarks, or even clip them onto curtains. They offer a lovely alternative to something like a 'hidden pan wallpaper,' providing a tangible, soft, and unique way to integrate your pan pride aesthetic into your everyday life and surroundings without being overtly flashy. Speaking of expanding, I'm genuinely stuck on which flag should I do next? The response to the Pan Pride hearts has been so heartwarming, and I really wanna do at least 4 more before they are dropped on my Etsy on Jan 24th. I'm picturing a whole collection of vibrant, inclusive hearts! I've considered doing some classic ones like the Rainbow flag, but also flags for other identities within the LGBTQIA+ community, like Aromantic, Asexual, Genderfluid, or non-binary. Each flag represents a unique and beautiful identity, and I want to make sure I honor as many as possible. If you have a specific flag in mind that you'd love to see turned into a cute crochet heart, please let me know! Your suggestions truly help me decide what to prioritize and ensure I'm creating something that resonates with everyone in our wonderful community. I'm so excited to get these new designs ready for you all!
