Doubt and worry.
Don’t be double minded. This comes from doubt, lack of faith, and bad influences. Deep down I know that I have faith but recently I’ve been covering it up with stress and doubt by worrying about trying to do things my way. Because of that I forget that God is my refuge in times of trouble. Doubt is fear and worry and these are not fruits of the Holy Spirit that God has given me, and they cannot mix!! Whichever I give the power to influence me to will take over and that spot is for the Holy Spirit. Leave the doubt behind, leave the worry, stress, and anxiety all behind. Those things come from the flesh and we are not called to walk in the flesh but the spirit. Do not please or satisfy the flesh by thinking and walking in those ways but praise God in all you do, live for him and like him, trust in him and wait for him. Keep your faith strong especially during trials. Faith without works is dead.
James 1 James 2: 14-26
Doubt and worry often plague those seeking to strengthen their faith, leading to a cycle of stress and negativity. It's crucial to recognize the sources of your doubts, which can include external influences and internal fears. One way to combat this is through prayer and meditation, allowing time for reflection and spiritual growth. Bible verses, like those in James 1 and 2, highlight the significance of acting on your faith. Engaging in community worship or support groups can also provide encouragement and accountability. Remember, cultivating a mindset of trust and hope shifts focus from fear to the assurance of God's promises. Participate in daily affirmations that reinforce your belief in God's plan, fostering a positive outlook. Surrounding yourself with uplifting content, whether through books, podcasts, or sermons, can dramatically alter your perspective. By consistently practicing these steps, you will find that doubt diminishes, and your faith will flourish.
