📚BOOK REVIEW: Witchcraft for Wayward Girls✨
This was a great release to start the year strong! I really enjoyed the spin this book had on witchcraft and the vulnerability of young teen mothers looking for refuge in it. Definitely hard to stomach some of the birthing scenes and had to take a break from it🥴
I started this as an audiobook on Spotify (free for premium users) and slowly began to read the actual book. I definitely prefer the book!
Rating: 4/5 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

This aspect, while challenging, is crucial in portraying the intensity of the characters' experiences. Audiobook formats, such as that on Spotify, are making this compelling read more accessible, providing flexibility for readers on-the-go. However, many have found the physical book offers a deeper connection to the text. The popularity of witchcraft themes in contemporary literature reflects a growing interest in empowerment and self-discovery, making this novel particularly relevant. I could not get into this one at all! And I love most of the books from Gary Hendrix!
