My Plantar Fasciitis Journey🦶🤕

I’ve been dealing with plantar fasciitis on and off since November 2023. While I still get flare-ups now and then, they’re nowhere near as bad as when this journey first started.

I’ve tried everything — supplements, topical creams, braces, inserts, overnight remedies, ice packs — you name it.

Lately, consistent stretching and keeping up with my gym routine have made a huge difference. Healing hasn’t been linear, but progress is happening — step by step.

No journey is perfect, but giving up isn’t an option. Every stretch, every workout, every small choice matters. Stay consistent, trust the process — your future self will thank you.

... Read morePlantar fasciitis can significantly affect mobility and quality of life. This condition stems from inflammation of the plantar fascia, the thick band of tissue connecting your heel to your toes, often caused by overuse or strain. Common symptoms include heel pain, especially with the first steps in the morning. Effective treatment strategies encompass several approaches: 1. **Stretching Exercises**: Regular stretches for the Achilles tendon and plantar fascia can relieve tension and pain. 2. **Footwear Choices**: Opting for supportive shoes with cushioning can make a significant difference. 3. **Orthotic Inserts**: Many find relief with custom or over-the-counter orthotic inserts that provide arch support. 4. **Physical Therapy**: A therapist can develop a personalized routine that emphasizes strength and flexibility. 5. **Rest and Ice**: Allowing time for recovery and applying ice can help reduce inflammation after activity. Remember, healing isn't always linear. Staying patient, committed, and mindful of your body will help you navigate this journey effectively.

I have had diagnosed to plantar fasciitis since October 2023. Got a special insole from my Dr that recommended me into a store he wrote down or on Amazon. I’ve tried everything like ice water, exercise my feet’s, braces, etc and it doesn’t work. Insole finally help me some and learned more about shoes what I can or can’t wear. Less than a year later, I end up flare up my left foot and got so much more pain than right foot and he put cortisone shot in my left foot and so far no pain ever since.
