Far East Bazaar gelato using ingredients from around the world without using sugar. Freshly squeezed Mont Blanc from Hashiya has a demonstration with a combination of Kawagoe potatoes and bean paste donuts
There is also a new work of La Maison du Chocolat using cacao from three production areas, and the nut rubber that is irresistible for pistachio and cashew nuts is the first appearance!

私が行った時に「これ先に知っておけば…！」と思ったポイントを、川越丸広のバレンタイン（ショコラミュージアム）向けにまとめます。川越でチョコレート探しをする人はもちろん、川越駅・本川越駅周辺で“ついで買い”したい人にも役立つはずです。 まず、会場は「まるひろ川越店 5階催場」。時間は10:00〜19:00で、最終日は早めに閉場（午後4時）なので要注意です。私は夕方に行って「もう少し見たかった…」となったので、迷っている人は昼〜夕方早めが安心でした。特に土日祝は混みやすい印象で、人気ブランドの列ができることも。 チョコ以外も意外と楽しくて、ファーイーストバザールの“世界各地の素材を使用”したジェラートは、甘さ控えめで食べ歩き気分になりました。あと、もとはし屋の搾りたてモンブランは、川越芋×あんドーナツの組み合わせが想像以上に満足感あり。実演があると、つい足が止まってしまいます。 購入面で大事なのが「予約・受け取り」の考え方。メゾンカカオはオンライン予約限定アイテムがあり、予約すると翌日会場で受け取れる仕組みでした（店頭には並ばないタイプ）。当日ふらっと行って買えると思っていると空振りしやすいので、狙いが決まっている人は事前に公式情報を確認してから行くのがおすすめです。 さらに、川越でバレンタインを探すなら、移動の起点も決めておくとラク。本川越駅から徒歩5分なので、電車で来るなら本川越駅スタートがスムーズでした。川越駅から向かう場合は、時間に余裕を見ておくと安心です。 最後に、選び方のコツ。会場は90以上のブランドが集まるので、最初に「贈り物（上品系）」「自分用（ナッツ・ピスタチオ系）」「変化球（ジェラート・モンブラン系）」みたいに目的を分けると、見て回るテンポが良くなりました。私みたいに“全部気になる派”は、気になった商品をスマホでメモしてから最後に購入すると、買い忘れが減りました。
