「美むら 志木本店」の雰囲気が気になって、私はドライブついでに立ち寄りました。国道463号沿いで“羽倉橋手前の歩道橋が目印”という情報が本当にわかりやすくて、初めてでも迷いにくかったです。駐車場があるので、志木周辺で車移動の人にはかなり助かるお店だと思います。 店内は“焼き栗専門店”らしく、焼きたての香りがふわっとして入った瞬間からテンションが上がりました。私が行ったときも開店後からお客さんが途切れず、栗をどんどん焼き上げている感じ。お土産目的の人も多くて、志木で栗（和栗系）の手土産を探しているなら候補に入れて損なしです。 肝心の「美むらの焼き栗」は、とにかく粒が大きめ。ひと口食べるとホクホクで、甘みと香りがしっかりあります。甘いのにしつこくないタイプなので、食後でも意外とスルッと食べられました。私は“焼き栗だけを黙々と食べる”のも好きですが、ここはスイーツも揃っているので合わせ買いが楽しいです。 例えば「栗まるごとバームクーヘン」は、栗のほっくり感とバームのやさしい甘さが相性良くて、コーヒーや紅茶にも合いました。あと「焼き芋モンブラン（焼き栗モンブラン系）」は、ふんわり繊細な食感で、栗の香りをしっかり感じられる印象。写真でよく見る“綾織りっぽい絞り”がきれいで、手土産にしたら見た目でも喜ばれそうです。 もうひとつ気に入ったのが「揚げ栗」。黄金色で、外側の香ばしさと中のホクホク感のギャップがクセになります。甘い系だけじゃなく、ちょっと違う栗の食べ方も試したい人におすすめ。昔ながらの蒸し羊羹っぽい商品もあって、年齢問わず選びやすいラインナップでした。 「美むら志木店の写真が見たい」「美むらの焼き栗って実際どう？」と迷っている人は、まずは焼き栗＋気になるスイーツを1つ、みたいに少量から試すのが安心です。混みやすい時間帯もあるので、ゆっくり選びたいなら早めの時間に行くのが個人的に良かったです。最新の販売状況やメニューは変わることもあるので、行く前に公式情報も確認してみてください。
