私が行って「ここ助かる！」と思ったのが“屋根付き”なところ。屋上って晴れの日のイメージだけど、実際は天気が読めない日も多いですよね。URBAN EARTH BBQ 熊谷駅ビル店は屋根があるので、小雨の日でも予定を崩しにくいのがありがたかったです。埼玉で「雨でも遊べる場所」を探している人にも、候補としてかなりアリだと思います。 あと、駅直結という立地が想像以上にラク。仕事帰りに合流しやすいし、飲み放題付きでも帰りの心配が少ないのが最高でした。ドリンクはSUNTORY系を中心に種類が多くて、体感だと「三十種類も豊富な」ラインナップ。ビールだけじゃなくソフトドリンクも選びやすかったので、飲めない人や家族連れでも楽しみやすいです。 当日スムーズに楽しむコツは、開始時間と持ち込みルールを先に押さえること。最終20時までスタート可能なので、遅め集合でも間に合いました。持ち込みは“食材はOK、飲み物と機材はNG”なので、例えば「好きなおつまみ・お菓子・追加の食材」を少し足すのがちょうどいい感じ。逆に、クーラーボックスやコンロ系を持って行っても使えないので注意です。 屋外テーブルやバーベキューテーブルって、人数が増えると席の使い勝手が気になりますよね。私の場合は、テーブル上が意外とすぐ埋まったので、取り皿を重ねて置けるようにしたり、ウェットティッシュを多めに持っていくと快適でした（機材じゃない持ち物はあると便利）。屋外は風もあるので、紙類が飛ばないよう小さな重し代わりになるものもあると安心。 最後に、屋上は日差しが強い日もあるので、庭のパラソルみたいに影が欲しくなるタイミングがあります。屋根があるとはいえ席によって暑さの体感が違ったので、夏は薄手の羽織や汗拭きシートがあるとかなり助かりました。手ぶらで行ける気軽さはそのままに、ちょい足しの準備で満足度が上がるので、初めての人ほどおすすめです。
