Looking back at my own high school experience, those last few months really felt like a whirlwind. It’s crazy how just yesterday I was in kindergarten, thinking high school was something so far away, and now here I am, counting down the days until graduation. 118 days might seem like a long time, but it passes faster than you think. During this period, I found myself constantly reflecting on how much I've grown — not just academically, but emotionally and socially too. The anticipation of everything changing after senior year brings a mix of excitement and nerves. It’s the perfect time to soak in the final moments with friends, make memories, and also start thinking seriously about what comes next—whether it’s college, work, or other adventures. For anyone in the Class of 2026 or similar, I recommend keeping a journal to capture these feelings and moments. It’s amazing to read back on later how your outlook and goals evolve. Also, try to balance celebrating milestones with planning for life beyond high school. These days are precious, and embracing every moment can make a huge difference in how you transition into the next phase of your life.
