Two-month scar cream check-in: my hypertrophic scar actually faded~😃
I used this✅ Pomo scar gel. In just two months, the scar flattened out and the color faded so much that it’s almost hard to see. 👍The best part is that the medical-grade silicone inside is very gentle. Even with my sensitive skin, I didn’t feel any discomfort at all!
⌚️I started applying it and checking in on March 1, 2026. Here are the specific changes in my scar:
During the first week of March, when I had just started using it, the scar still felt like a bumpy, uneven, hard lump, 😯and the color was reddish. Every morning and night, after cleansing my skin, ✅I applied a thin layer. It spread out easily and quickly formed a film without sticking to my clothes, so it didn’t affect me going out at all.
🕙By mid-April, which was about a month and a half into my check-in, I could clearly feel that the scar had become much softer. The raised area had gone down by almost half, 😍and the red color had faded into a light pink. Even when wearing tight clothes, the raised part was no longer obvious.
‼️After sticking with it for these two months, the originally raised hypertrophic scar has basically flattened. 🫣It is almost level with the surrounding skin, and the color has faded to the point where you can only see a tiny mark if you look closely. 😄Both the texture and appearance have improved so much. I’m honestly so surprised!
After my two-month experience with Pomo scar gel, I found it incredibly important to consistently apply the gel twice daily—once in the morning and once at night—to achieve good results. The medical-grade silicone formula not only helped reduce the scar’s thickness and redness but also created a protective barrier that maintained moisture balance, which I believe was key to the improved texture. Before starting, I was skeptical because hypertrophic scars can be stubborn and difficult to treat. Yet, seeing the gradual softening by mid-April was encouraging and motivated me to continue the routine without interruption. One of the biggest pluses was that the gel dried quickly and didn’t stick to my clothes, making it easy to use even on busy days or when heading out. I also noticed that avoiding sun exposure and applying sunscreen on my scar area enhanced the fading process. UV rays can darken scars, so protecting the skin complementarily helped the gel's effects. From a personal viewpoint, patience is crucial because significant improvements took about a month to become visible. Although the scar didn’t vanish completely, the flattening and color fading drastically improved my confidence, especially when wearing clothes that exposed the area. I recommend anyone dealing with hypertrophic scars to consider silicone-based gels like Pomo and to maintain a daily skincare routine for best outcomes. In summary, this product worked well for my sensitive skin, providing a gentle yet effective solution to challenging scar tissue. If you’re struggling with hypertrophic scars, I encourage you to try silicone scar gels consistently and pair the treatment with sun protection for optimal healing over time.
