Day 3: Welcome Back
You know for a while I had been pulling the 3 of cups in my readings for myself and I had never been able to understand and relate to the message being conveyed to me. “Lean into sacred siblinghood?” I couldn’t believe or fathom or even begin to understand that there are people who love and support me at my divine soul essence because the people I had once trusted with that let me down continuously or showed me differently. And in my mind I damn sure didn’t know anything about siblinghood because I grew up as the only child in a dysfunctional fragmented family. I felt misunderstood and disrespected and devalued by those most important to me, so how could I be important to anyone else? I believed that in my entire life it had only been me to deal with my difficulties and emotions.
And then I allowed that belief to change my actions and to fester in my thoughts until I forced my perception to be reflected in the world in some way.
God I thank you for showing me that I was wrong. I thank you that despite all of my efforts to sabotage my life in a way that I didn’t even know, you still decided to show me wrong and extend your grace to me. Even when I thought I wasn’t deserving you reassured me that I was and sent angels to exist with me.
Hindsight is always 20/20, but God I thank you for giving me the chance to experience it. You have not given up on me yet and therefore I cannot and will not give up on myself despite any of my previous efforts to do so.
Thank you for another day to be made over in your name, your will, and with only the grace you can give.
I’m learning how to think. I’m changing my beliefs and reprogramming my subconscious. I’m seeing my strength and releasing victimhood to become an active participant in my life.
Allowing myself to be seen trying and sharing my testimony through it all.
Hearing this song felt like my great grandmother rubbing my back. It felt like my spiritual silence had lifted because now I could see. I was missing the messages and guidance being sent to me from those closest to me designated by God in spirit, so Source itself had to step in and interfere with my life to do the work.
Today my routine is a little less rigid than it has been the past few days and it almost threw me off but I’m grateful for the way my past self has been preparing things for my future self each day.
Instead of my usual walk, i’m opting to work outside today in the sun. My journal topic today was “What did childhood me need?” And my response was emotionally intelligent and available parents / a safe space to express. I forgave them again today and myself for adapting a safety response that has been detrimental to my wellbeing.
