Rustic Sunflower & Rose Esthetic Wedding🌻✨

... Read moreWhen we were planning our dream country wedding, one of the biggest decisions (and most fun!) was figuring out the groomsmen's attire. We knew we wanted something authentic to our rustic vision, and the idea of having our groomsmen in jeans and vests just felt right. It wasn't just about comfort; it was about capturing that relaxed, genuine country charm that truly reflected us as a couple. Choosing the right jeans was key. We opted for a darker wash, classic fit jean – nothing too distressed or trendy. This kept the look polished enough for a wedding, yet still unmistakably casual and cool. Paired with this, the vests were a game-changer! We went for a mix of gray and tweed vests, which added texture and sophistication without being too formal. If your bridesmaids are wearing maroon, like ours did, you could even consider a dark maroon vest or a subtle plaid with maroon accents to tie everything together beautifully. This really helped to blend the rustic feel with a touch of fall elegance. Underneath the vests, crisp, solid-colored button-down shirts worked perfectly. A classic white, off-white, or even a light blue chambray can look fantastic. Some of our groomsmen rolled up their sleeves for a more relaxed vibe during the reception, which was great for dancing! And of course, no country wedding outfit is complete without the right accessories. For boutonnieres, we absolutely had to include sunflowers, just like my bouquet and the centerpieces. We mixed them with small red roses and some greenery, which mirrored the beautiful sunflower and rose arrangements throughout our ceremony and reception. The pop of yellow against the vests was just stunning in photos! For footwear, cowboy boots were a natural choice for some, while others opted for smart leather dress boots. It really allowed their individual personalities to shine through while maintaining a cohesive look. We also made sure to incorporate maroon ties or bowties to match the bridesmaids' dresses, creating a lovely visual flow across the entire wedding party. Seeing everyone – from the bride in her white lace dress to the flower girls in their maroon skirts with sunflower accents – come together with this relaxed, rustic elegance was truly magical. It’s a look that’s not only stylish but also comfortable, allowing everyone to enjoy every moment of your special day. Don't be afraid to mix and match elements to create a look that's uniquely yours!
