My 2025 Bingo Board
I have a lot i want to get done, but I don't want to lose momentum if things change. I'll see how many I can get! #newyearsgoals #ttrpg #dnd #lemon8bookclub
Hey everyone! So, you saw my 2025 Goal Bingo Board, and I'm super hyped about using it to tackle my ambitions this year. If you're like me and have a ton of things you want to achieve but sometimes struggle to keep track or stay motivated, a goal bingo board might be exactly what you need! I started doing this because traditional New Year's resolutions often felt too rigid. Life happens, priorities shift, and suddenly you're feeling guilty about not hitting every single goal. The bingo board approach makes it fun, flexible, and visually rewarding. It's not about linear progress; it's about filling those squares in any order that works for you! Why I Love My Goal Bingo Board (and why you might too!): Flexibility is Key: Just like I mentioned in my original post, I don't want to lose momentum if things change. A bingo board lets me pivot! If one goal, like "Successful Crowdfunding," takes longer than expected, I can focus on another square, like "Finish reading new fiction" or "Learn and Play a new TTRPG." Visual Motivation: There's something incredibly satisfying about marking off a square. Seeing those "Goals for 2025" visually come to life on the board keeps me going. Variety of Aspirations: It encourages me to think broadly. My board isn't just about big career moves; it includes personal growth goals like "Take a vacation," hobby-related aspirations like exploring a "Blood Hunter Subclass" or "Fighter Subclass" in D&D, or even smaller creative projects like to "Make a Pocket Game." Ready to Make Your Own? Here’s How I Approach It: Brainstorm Everything! Seriously, dump every single thing you want to do, learn, or experience in 2025 onto a list. Don't filter. This could be anything from mastering a "Cozy Game Campaign" to finally getting that "DMs Guild" project off the ground. Categorize (Optional but Helpful): I sometimes group them mentally. For instance, I have a few TTRPG-related goals, some reading goals, and some bigger personal development items like "publish something." Choose Your Squares: Pick 20-25 of your favorites for a standard 5x5 bingo board. Try to mix in some easier "wins" with bigger, more challenging "Goals for 2025." This keeps the momentum going. Maybe "Attend a con" is a mid-level goal, while a "Successful Crowdfunding" campaign is a big one! Make it Visual: You can hand-draw it, use a digital template, or even just write it out. The key is to make it something you'll look at regularly. Define Your "Bingo": Is it a line? A full card? Or just the satisfaction of ticking off squares? For me, it's about filling as many as possible, but hitting a few lines feels extra special! Remember, this isn't about perfection; it's about making your goals feel exciting and achievable. So, grab a pen, start dreaming, and let's make 2025 a year of incredible accomplishments!
