Ellie K. Wilde's story is about Melody Woods returning home after a painful past, only to face Zac Porter (the man she's tried to forget). The slow-burn romance between them is filled with chemistry, banter, and moments that will pull at your heartstrings.
I love the brother's best friend trope and how the author balanced the tension with humor and vulnerability. Zac is a relatable, protective hero, and Melody's journey toward healing felt well-paced. The supporting characters added warmth and fun to the story. My only minor critique is that a few plot points felt predictable, but the emotional payoff made up for it.
Overall, Only in Your Dreams is a great book. I'm looking forward to the next book in the Oakwood Bay series!
