Books Recs for Fall!

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Written in Starlight is a fun sci‑fi romance that feels like Regency England crashing into a chaotic space crew. Two strangers find magical books that let them write letters and share their thoughts and feelings, creating a relationship built on openness rather than secrets. I loved the anxious but hopeful heroine and the guarded, wrongly accused hero on the run with his found family. Their flirting, teasing letters, and emotional growth made the romance so engaging, and the alien side characters were chaotic in the best way!

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Kiss of the Black Flame completely consumed me. Helen Scheuerer delivers tension, humor, and plot twists that had me hooked the entire time. Saige, our 35-year-old FMC, is confident, emotionally mature, and incredibly resilient, which felt so refreshing. Archer is everything, powerful and deadly but also soft in ways that wrecked me. Their banter is hilarious and the chemistry is unreal. Add in found family and shocking twists, and I was done for. That ending had my jaw on the floor.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Cursekeeper was such a fun ride! Give me a magical library full of dangerous curses and I’m immediately hooked. Thalia is a fierce, loyal heroine, and her mission to find her brother kept the stakes high. The MMC, Soren, is a broody fae with secrets, and his banter with Thalia added great tension. The worldbuilding and twists kept me engaged, even if the pacing slowed a bit in the middle and some tropes felt familiar. Still, it’s an addictive romantasy with enough intrigue to have me ready for book two.
