The BTS post concert depression is real. But I'm sooooooo happy I took a chance and flew out to Vegas to go on a trip of a lifetime. Life is too short to wait for the perfect time to do things for yourself. I could have let mom guilt get to me and pass on this invitation to see BTS during the school week, but I am so grateful to my husband for holding down the fort and telling me that I deserve this trip for myself.
Shout out to all the ARMY husbands this past week!
Y'all are the real MVPs!!
@BTS
Attending a BTS concert, especially when juggling responsibilities like parenting, can bring about mixed emotions. I remember feeling that pull of mom guilt very strongly before my trip. But the experience taught me so much more than just enjoying incredible music—I learned the true value of prioritizing my happiness and mental health. The image quote that says, "You will never be this age again. So please, do what makes you happy," really resonated with me during this trip. It reminded me that waiting for the "perfect" time or for everyone else’s approval can hold you back from life-changing experiences. Instead, embracing the moment and doing what makes you joyful can have lasting positive effects. Flying out to Vegas on a school week might seem unconventional, but it was a meaningful act of self-care that replenished my spirit. My husband took charge at home, which made me appreciate even more the supportive dynamic that lets both partners thrive. Shout out to the ARMY husbands who stand behind their spouses so they can chase these dreams! For anyone wrestling with similar fears or obligations, I encourage you to consider what your heart truly wants. Life can be unpredictable, and sometimes you just need to say "yes" to opportunities. Whether it’s a concert, a new hobby, or a spontaneous trip, these moments shape who you are and help you live fully. In the end, the post concert blues are real but outweighed by the joy of having said yes to yourself. This journey was more than just a concert—it was a powerful reminder that self-love and courage are vital ingredients for a happy life.
