it’s tornado season!

Fifth, never try to outrun a tornado in a car if it's close; abandon the vehicle and seek sturdy shelter. Also, remember to protect your head and neck during the storm. And please, avoid windows at all costs! Beyond safety, I found some interesting tornado facts that just blew my mind! Did you know that tornadoes can come in various shapes? We often see the classic rope or cone-shaped funnel clouds, but there are also wider 'wedge' tornadoes that can be harder to spot, and even 'multi-vortex' tornadoes where several small vortices rotate around a common center. These powerful storms are measured on the Enhanced Fujita (EF) Scale, which rates them from EF0 (light damage) to EF5 (incredible damage) based on the damage they cause.
