Baby Chick Update 🌱 Homestead Journey
🐥 Meet our Cream Legbar Cockerel, Gus (m.)
He is now 4 weeks old and very friendly. Out of the 10 we have (8 females & 2 males). He is always the first to walk directly up to me and the only one that lets me pet him without freaking out.
All of our chicks have Disney themed names. He is Gus like the chubby little mouse off of Cinderella. He is sweet and the largest of the crew.
You would think he runs the show but our other smaller cockerel actually does. We call him Gaston (m.) because he is a brute. Tiny (for now) but mean. lol. He will probably end up being a big boy, but his demeanor and character is proudly showing. Just like Gaston from Beauty and the Beast.
We have a fiesta Cruella (f.) in the camp too. Don’t worry. I’ll introduce you to them all eventually.
