Make time for Him
Calling myself out on this too and making it one of my priorities to work on. Time each day dedicated to sitting down in peace and quiet with Him not just to talk to Him but to then be quiet (in my mind too, which is my biggest struggle) so I can hear, see, and feel what He is telling me.
It seems like we're all hardwired now to feel guilty if we take some time to just sit and it's HARD to stop our mind from the 1294738 things we need to do or are thinking about. It's not only okay, it's so important for our own wellbeing and our relationship with Him. And how important are all the other things if none of them are the things He wants for us anyways?
Who else is working on this with me?
In the hustle and bustle of daily life, it's often challenging to prioritize spiritual time. Yet, dedicating moments for quiet reflection can transform our lives. Engaging in prayer not only strengthens our relationship with God but also provides a necessary pause for mental clarity. Practicing 'Godtime' encourages us to listen for divine guidance, helping us navigate through life's challenges. In modern society, where distractions are plentiful, embracing silence can feel uncomfortable, but this discomfort often leads to profound insights. Take the first step: find a comfortable space, silence your thoughts, and invite Him into your heart. The journey toward spiritual growth begins with this simple practice. Whether you're new to prayer or have been practicing for years, each moment spent in quietude is an opportunity to deepen your faith. Reflect on the ways God has guided you in the past, and be open to His plans for your future. Are you ready to add Godtime into your daily routine? Let's embark on this meaningful journey together.
