Dallas Arboretum
Koi fish, plants, and a cute Christmas village - who could want more?
My partner, my friends, and I travelled to Dallas this past day for a small trip! We visited Astra Lumina - a light experience that was stunning and words couldn’t do it justice.
The Dallas Arboretum, although allergy inducing, was gorgeous and I even saw some pretty koi fish!!!
If you’re in Dallas, I highly recommend visiting both of these experiences!!!
Located in the heart of Dallas, the Dallas Arboretum and Botanical Garden offers visitors a stunning array of gardens and seasonal displays. From beautifully landscaped gardens to vibrant seasonal festivals, there’s something for everyone to enjoy. The highlight for many visitors includes the serene ponds filled with koi fish, which add a touch of tranquility to the landscape. For those interested in seasonal events, the Christmas Village setup is particularly charming, making it a picturesque spot for holiday photos. It’s an experience that combines nature with artistry, illustrating why the Arboretum is a beloved destination for both locals and tourists. For art and light lovers, the Astra Lumina light show creates an immersive experience that captivates the senses, showcasing how light transforms the natural surroundings. Before visiting, it's worth noting that the area can be prone to allergies due to certain plants. However, the beauty and serenity of nature that the Dallas Arboretum provides is undeniably worth it. Whether you're visiting with family, planning a romantic date, or looking for a peaceful escape in nature, the Dallas Arboretum promises a memorable experience.
