I’m always losing motivation
This app keeps suggesting that I should post on diary challenges. My very first post was about the same, and how I wanted to be consistent with it. I failed miserably and I believe that was a month or two ago so there wasn’t much effort after day one. When it got suggested for this month, I said “ OK, I’m doing it!”
Yet, as I pick pictures for this post it has me questioning the consistency throughout my life. I used to be 260 in that picture with the bonnet(2 years ago). I’m currently at 210, but I keep fluctuating because no matter how much I workout I fail on being consistent with my eating habits. That’s what truly helped me to lose weight in the first place.
The 4th picture made me think about how I’m consistent with work simply for the money, but I couldn’t put that much effort into my own personal and spiritual desires which leads to the fifth picture. I feel like I keep putting my energy into things that don’t matter and are draining such as situationships or entertaining the wrong people. It makes me go in this cycle of feeling really high and then really low which I feel like relates to the 6th photo.
There was a clip of a podcast, and Drew was talking about how men aren’t deserving of her patience. I tend to be extremely patient with people and trying to always give them the benefit of the doubt, but I really do need to learn how to just kick people to the curb when they no longer serve a positive purpose in my life. Now this post feels all over the place because I’m trying to relate my photos to my personal emotions and this is just a diary post so now I’m done lol

Maintaining motivation can be challenging, especially when attempting personal transformation or sticking to healthy habits. Whether it's about fitness, emotional well-being, or simply staying committed to personal projects, understanding your triggers and creating an actionable plan can significantly improve your consistency. One effective strategy is journaling, which allows you to reflect on your daily experiences and feelings. It helps track progress and understand fluctuations in motivation. Visual aids, such as mood trackers and motivational quotes, can also be influential. Additionally, surrounding yourself with a supportive community or engaging in accountability partnerships can foster a positive environment, encouraging you to stay on track. Remember that setbacks are a part of the journey; embracing them as learning opportunities instead of failures can transform your perspective and enhance resilience. Self-compassion, including forgiving yourself for slips in motivation, is vital in maintaining a healthy approach to personal growth. By learning to prioritize your own needs and setting clear boundaries, you can make room for the passions that genuinely uplift you in life.
