How’d my new nail tech do?
Spring nails although fall is among us lol!
This is my second time going to this Nail Tech. The retention was so good from the first set, but the new growth was too much(a month and a half)! 🤣 I finally got around to booking this appointment with her, and I have to say… I am not disappointed. I had so many pretty nail designs in mind but when I showed her this set she was so excited 😁 I’ve also been so obsessed with these textured nails so that was a must have, I had to go a bit shorter because of my job but I’m just so glad I found her! #nailartenthusiasts #nails💅🏾 #nailinspo #nailartdesign #freshset 💵

Getting a fresh set of nails is truly one of life's little joys, isn't it? There’s nothing quite like walking out of the salon with perfectly shaped, beautifully designed nails that just make you feel put-together. I can totally relate to the excitement of finding a nail tech who gets your vision, especially when you're looking for something specific like those gorgeous square-shaped nails with unique textured tips! One thing I've learned is how crucial reshaping acrylic nails is during a fill-in. It’s not just about filling the new growth; it's about maintaining the structural integrity and the aesthetic appeal of your nails. My tech always takes the time to expertly file and refine the shape, ensuring they still look crisp and intentional, even after weeks of wear. This is especially important for classic shapes like square nails where a sharp, clean edge is key. If you're someone who is particular about your nail shape, don't hesitate to clearly communicate your desired look – whether you want a perfect square or something with a softer, slightly rounded edge. A good tech will always listen and deliver! Speaking of designs, I'm absolutely loving how creative nail art has become. While my latest obsession was these stunning blue/teal and pink/purple textured tips, the possibilities for square nail designs are endless. You can go for minimalist lines, abstract swirls, or even intricate patterns. If you're curious about designs like star nails or other detailed elements, ask your tech if they can hand-paint them or use decals. The beauty of a skilled nail artist is their ability to transform your vision into reality, often exceeding expectations, just like my tech did with my textured tips. It’s amazing how a simple detail can make your entire set pop! Finding a new nail tech can feel like dating – you're looking for the perfect match! I always recommend checking out their portfolio, reading reviews, and paying attention to their communication style. It's so important to find someone whose work you admire and who makes you feel comfortable discussing your preferences. Once you've found your person, like I did here in Jacksonville, maintaining that relationship is key. And remember, proper aftercare is essential for extending the life of your new set. Regular cuticle oil application and being mindful of how you use your hands will keep those beautiful square nails looking fresh and fabulous for longer. My last set lasted me a month and a half with fantastic retention thanks to her skill, proving a 10/10 rating is well-deserved! It makes that $80 investment totally worth it for nails that feel and look this good.
