Now that my kiddos are back in school, I'm trying to get back on track!! 🖤 Today, I'm featuring 2 faux leather pieces from the Floerns haul. This outfit looks like a dress, but it's actually a top and skirt that I paired together! 🔥
The top has an asymmetrical hemline with ruching on the left side and right shoulder. It's form - fitting with a zipper up the back, and there's a fair amount of stretch, so it's not uncomfortable.
I'm wearing a size medium in both the top & the skirt. And where the top fits perfectly, I should have gone up to a size large just to allow for a bit more length. With its ruffles and silver hardware on the built-in belt, it gives both girly and edgy, which is my favorite. I was going to pair with my crystal strappy heels, but my dogs need some attention, so i opted for pointy toe heels instead. And yes, they work, the strappy heels would be better!ðŸ˜ðŸ˜… #Floerns #girly #edgy #womensfashion #outfitinspo
As we transition into the fall season, faux leather pieces are becoming a staple in women’s fashion, offering a blend of comfort and style. This versatile material is not only durable but also adds an edgy twist to any outfit. Faux leather is available in various styles, from jackets to skirts and tops, creating endless outfit possibilities. When styling faux leather, consider pairing it with softer fabrics to balance its boldness. For instance, a faux leather top can beautifully complement a flowy skirt or oversized sweater for added texture. Accessories play a crucial role as well—chunky boots or strappy heels can elevate your look while maintaining comfort throughout the day. Don’t hesitate to mix textures; pairing leather with cotton or knits can create a unique and fashionable look that’s sure to turn heads. Don’t forget to experiment with colors! While classic black is a timeless choice, consider tan, burgundy, or even metallic faux leather for a fresh take. Remember to check the fit—faux leather tends to be form-fitting, so ensure you select sizes that provide comfort and flexibility. As you curate your wardrobe this fall, look for versatile pieces that allow you to express both your girly and edgy sides.
