Surrender to God
Many people struggle with the idea of surrendering to God because it requires humility and a willingness to reflect deeply on our actions. From my own experience, I found that surrendering to God is not about weakness but about strength—strength to admit when I am wrong and the courage to change. Job 12:6 highlights a sobering reality: some live comfortably in sin without conviction, feeling secure in their wrongdoings. But true peace comes when we allow God to guide us away from this complacency. When I started to fully embrace God's conviction in my life, I noticed a profound shift internally, a genuine desire to turn away from harmful habits. Surrendering means more than just bowing down; it means opening your heart to transformation and trusting that God's guidance will lead you to a richer, more purposeful life. It’s a daily choice to submit and ask for forgiveness, not simply to avoid consequences but to restore your relationship with God. If you feel detached or distant from God, remember that asking Him to convict you—rather than living however you want—can be a powerful step towards spiritual renewal. The Christian lifestyle isn’t meant to be restrictive but freeing, filled with grace and growth as you walk with God in sincerity and love.
