Love at First Sight
In 2017, I decided to volunteer at an animal shelter. The first day of orientation, they were giving us a tour of the shelter and that’s when my eyes landed on Frank Turner. It was love at first site and I couldn’t wait to meet him. Fast forward to the weekend and we got to choose which dog to foster for a few days. I wanted Frank so bad but then I found out he got adopted. I was sad that I couldn’t meet him but at the same time, happy that he found a home. Two weeks later, I was back and ready to foster another dog, the original dog we choose ended up getting sick so we couldn’t take him home but right beside their kennel was Frank. He was returned due to biting the person that adopted him and was sent to doggy jail and that day had happened to be his last day in doggy jail. I was so excited he was back and we got to take him home. The first night he stole my now husband’s pizza but over all we had a great time with Frank. When Monday came and it was time to return him, we decided to go ahead and adopt him. Adopting Frank has been the best decision we have ever made and his has been a major part of our family 💕
