... Read moreIt's funny how a few words can capture so much of who you are, especially when people are curious to learn more. When I see searches for 'red pagan mom,' I know you're looking for a glimpse into a life that's perhaps a little different, a little more intentional, and deeply personal. And that's exactly what I aim to share with you here on Lemon8.
Yes, I have red hair, and yes, I'm proudly walking a pagan path while navigating the beautiful chaos of motherhood. My little one, an awesome 17-month-old, brings so much joy and grounds me in ways I never imagined. Being a mom isn't just a role; it's a transformation, and it’s one of the most fulfilling parts of my identity. Every day is an adventure, from rediscovering the world through their eyes to the quiet moments of cuddles that make being a 'HOME BODY' the best thing ever. Nothing makes me happier than being home, eating a home-cooked meal with my loved ones, and watching my family thrive.
Paganism for me isn't about grand gestures or elaborate ceremonies; it's woven into the very fabric of my everyday life. It's in the quiet moments of meditation before my busy day starts, connecting with nature on our walks in the park, and honoring the cycles of the moon. It's a path of personal growth and respect for the earth, where 'light magik' isn't about spells, but about intention, focused energy, and living consciously. Karma truly does know what she's doing, and living with that awareness brings a deep sense of peace and responsibility.
Life, of course, isn't always sunshine and rainbows. Like many of us, I'm on a continuous journey of healing and self-discovery. I'm actively working through challenges such as OCD, healing from PTSD, managing anxiety, and addressing past 'mother wounds' and 'sister wounds' that have shaped my story. My pagan path provides a framework for resilience and self-compassion, helping me stay grounded as I learn to be unafraid to be myself, fully and authentically. Taking time for self-care, even just those much-needed 'sleepy head' moments, is crucial for recharging and staying present for my family.
Beyond my spiritual and family life, I have passions that fuel my soul. I've loved singing and songwriting for years, but fear always held me back from sharing my voice. It's part of this ongoing process of embracing who I am, putting my creative heart out there, and allowing myself to be vulnerable. My furry companions – my dog and cat – are also a huge part of my life, reminding me daily of unconditional love and the joy of simple moments. I truly believe I love weirdos, animal and human alike!
This journey of authenticity, of embracing my full self – the pagan, the mom, the artist, the wife, the person working through wounds – is what I hope to share here. I’m married to an incredible partner who supports me every step of the way. If you’re curious about what life is like as a red-haired pagan mom, or if you're also on a path of self-discovery, motherhood, light magik, and healing, I'd love for us to connect. Let's create a space where we can all feel seen, supported, and inspired to live our most genuine lives. There’s so much more to explore, and I’m excited to share it all with you.
