Fun Uses for Moon Water!
There are so many awesome ways to use moon water in your daily life. The most obvious being- drink it! If you’ve used drinking water, brew your coffee or tea with it! Or drink it on its own! Picture the healing energy of the moon lighting up every cell in your body as you take mindful sips ✨
My absolute favorite way to use moon water is in cleaning my house! I make my own cleaning products so I like to add herbs like basil or rosemary for abundance and protection and clean my counters and floors with it, picturing the moon’s energy washing away what no longer serves me and charging my home with whatever intention I had set! ✨
Adding it to a bath is another awesome way to use it. I like to hold the container of moon water in my hands and ask that it help to cleanse and heal me, I also like to add an intention that coincides with the sign that the moon was in (i.e. intuition when the moon is in Pisces) before pouring it into my bath! ✨
Blessed be 🧙♀️✨

So, you’ve made your moon water, steeped it under the lunar glow, and now you’re wondering, ‘What else can I do with this magical elixir?’ Beyond drinking it for inner harmony, cleansing my home, or elevating my bath rituals, I've discovered so many other incredible ways to integrate moon water into my spiritual practice and daily life. It’s all about infusing that calm, intuitive lunar energy into everything you do! First off, let's circle back to the question: 'is moon water drinkable?' Absolutely, but with a crucial caveat! Always start with high-quality, potable drinking water. If you’re collecting rainwater or water from an outdoor source, make sure it’s filtered and safe for consumption. I personally use filtered tap water or spring water for all my drinkable moon water creations. When I brew my morning tea or coffee with it, I feel an extra layer of peace and clarity. Just make sure your container is clean, and you’re placing safe, clean water out to charge. Now for some of my favorite lesser-known uses, inspired by traditional practices and my own intuitive experiments: Charging Your Crystals and Tools: This is a game-changer! Instead of just cleansing my crystals under the full moon, I like to place them next to a jar of moon water, or for water-safe crystals, directly in a bowl of it (be careful, some crystals like selenite or malachite dissolve in water!). The water acts as a conduit, amplifying and holding the lunar energy, which then infuses my crystals. I also use it to cleanse and charge my tarot decks or oracle cards, simply by placing them near a small bowl of moon water overnight. It helps them feel refreshed and ready for intuitive work. Nourishing Your Plants: My houseplants absolutely thrive when I water them with moon water, especially during a full moon. Just like us, plants respond to energy. I believe the lunar-infused water encourages growth, vitality, and connection to earth's natural cycles. It feels like I'm giving my green friends a little extra magic, and I've noticed they seem much happier and lusher. Scrying and Divination: This might sound a bit mystical, but moon water is perfect for scrying! I pour some into a dark bowl, light a candle nearby, and gaze into its surface, allowing my intuition to guide me. It’s a wonderful way to connect with my subconscious and receive messages, especially during a New Moon when intentions are set. The reflective quality of the water, combined with lunar energy, can truly open up your third eye. Glamour & Self-Love Spells: Moon water can be a beautiful addition to any self-love or 'glamour' ritual. I mix a few drops into my essential oil diffuser or add it to a spray bottle with rosewater and use it as a facial mist, setting the intention to see my own inner and outer beauty. It's not about changing who you are, but about enhancing how you perceive yourself and radiating confidence. Ritual Cleansing: Before any significant ritual or meditation, I use moon water to cleanse my hands or an altar space. It’s a simple yet powerful way to purify and set sacred boundaries, washing away any stagnant energy and inviting fresh, clear lunar vibrations. It helps me feel grounded and prepared for deeper spiritual work. Remember, the key to using moon water effectively is setting clear intentions. Whether it’s for healing, abundance, protection, or intuition, pour your desired outcome into the water as you collect it and as you use it. Store your moon water in a dark, cool place to maintain its potency, and always trust your intuition on how best to incorporate this beautiful lunar gift into your life. Blessed be! ✨

Thank you for this. Got some solar eclipse water from the eclipse this past summer with my wife. Any ideas on what we could use it for?
