The Simple Phrase That’s Keeping My House Clean✨
I wasn’t exactly organized before I had a baby (audhd-er here 👋) so it’s definitely harder for me now! I’m constantly surrounded by half-started projects, items I meant to put back but forgot about, and LAUNDRY so much laundry 🥴
But recently I came across a very simple phrase that for some reason just really gels with my brain chemistry-
“Don’t put it down, put it back”
Yup, that’s it. I say this phrase to myself when I’m about to leave something on my newly cleaned counters and like magic- I actually put it where it’s supposed to go 😂
This might be a very obvious concept for most people but if you struggle with ADHD like I do, I know you get it 😮💨
Try it, see if it helps!

Maintaining a clean home can be challenging, especially for those dealing with ADHD and organization issues. One effective approach is to adopt a mantra like “Don’t put it down, put it back.” This phrase serves as a gentle reminder to create habits that promote cleanliness. By using practical organizational strategies, you can significantly improve your living space. Consider implementing storage solutions that are easily accessible, which can streamline the process of returning items to their designated places. Regular tidy-up routines can also help; setting aside a few minutes each day to declutter surfaces can prevent mess buildup. Additionally, involving the whole family in housekeeping tasks can make it easier and more fun. Cooperation not only reduces stress but also fosters teamwork in maintaining the home. Join communities focused on cleaning and organization where you can share experiences and gain new insights. Online forums and local groups can provide motivation and support, especially for those with neurodivergent conditions. Remember, every small effort contributes to a cleaner, more organized home, making your environment more enjoyable and serene.

Gotta have a space for it to put it back =(
