Why I Don’t Do Return to Sender Spells

Two words: karmic 👏 contract👏

Regardless of what someone does to me, no matter how much they might “deserve” to be humbled or taught a lesson- that is not what I was put on this earth to do. It is not my job or my desire to dole out karmic punishments. Karma knows what karma is doing and I *promise* they will get theirs. ( and it will be in a much more creative way than we could’ve planned ourselves😂) Matching energy with something like a return to sender spell is telling the universe “I’d like to continue this energetic conversation! Link me to this person!” There is no “getting even!” Getting “revenge” only brings you bad karma.

So if someone is sending me hate or has done something terrible to me (no matter how much my ego wants to key their car🥴) I pause, breathe, know that their actions are THEIR karma, and I say “may this energy be transmuted for my highest good!”

I speak from personal experience and having been on both sides - what karma has planned is WAY better than anything we could’ve cooked up ourselves. Take the high road- not just for them, but for you!

... Read moreIn the world of witchcraft and spiritual practices, the concept of karma plays a pivotal role in our actions and their consequences. Many believe that utilizing return to sender spells—a technique to reflect negative energy back to its origin—can lead to a cycle of negativity instead of resolution. Rather than seeking revenge, it's vital to recognize that each person's actions are their own karmic journey. Instead of recycling bad vibes, practitioners are encouraged to focus on the higher perspective: to transmute negativity into positive energy. This approach not only fosters personal growth but also aligns with the greater good of all involved. Meditation and mindful practices can be powerful tools to help clear your energy and set intentions. Instead of wishing harm upon those who hurt you, consider affirmations such as “may this energy be transformed for my highest good.” By choosing to renounce the desire for revenge, you pave the way for healing and positivity—not just for yourself, but for the universe as a whole. Embracing your own spiritual practice with love can lead to unexpected and profound changes in your life, making the journey worthwhile. Ultimately, the path of light involves taking the high road and allowing the universe to handle karmic debts in ways far beyond our imagination.

I don't look at a Return to sender as seeking karma or revenge. I look at it like receiving a package that isn't mines...so I'm sending it back. That energy doesn't belong to me so SEND it back to whoever it belongs too. I just hand it back to the postman...don't matter where it came from or who sent it...
