i caught my first fish!

Time for a more light hearted post 🥸 I started fishing with an ex colleague recently and it’s been pretty fun!

I started thinking about fishing as I got into catch & cook videos 😁 The thrill from hooking a fish and then reeling it up before taking the victorious picture is frfr unmatched, like winning the trophies i nvr got in childhood 🤣🤣

I started taking boats out from Marina Bay and spent 7am - 5pm just casting bait out. No expectations, just enjoying company, getting some sun and feeling the sea breeze. You don’t get to bargain with what the sea wants to give and that’s the beauty of it. No one to tell you anything else. Definitely recommend a day out to get some clear thoughts 🙏

I found that having patience and simply enjoying the surroundings without fixating on catching fish made the experience so much more rewarding. Taking a boat out early in the morning and letting the peaceful rhythm of casting and waiting soothe your mind is something I highly recommend. Exploring different fishing tackle stores, whether in Singapore or nearby places like Johor Bahru, can also be a fun adventure to find the perfect bait and tools that suit your style. For anyone interested in catch & cook videos, the whole process from catching fish to preparing them adds a satisfying layer to the hobby. Whether you're fishing for relaxation or the thrill, places like Marina Bay offer great opportunities and a breath of fresh sea air. Just remember, the sea decides what it gives, and that unpredictability is part of the magic!
