... Read moreIn the digital era, writers have a plethora of platforms to choose from for their writing needs. Google Docs is a popular choice due to its collaborative features, allowing multiple users to edit documents in real-time. However, there are several other websites that cater to specific writing needs. For example, tools like Evernote and Notion not only facilitate writing but also help in organizing thoughts and ideas effectively. Additionally, platforms such as Scrivener are designed for authors working on larger projects, providing tools for planning and structuring books. For those seeking community feedback, websites like Wattpad encourage sharing your stories and engaging with readers. Alternatively, platforms such as Grammarly and ProWritingAid offer writing enhancement tips and grammar checks to refine your drafts. When choosing a writing website, consider your specific needsโ€”whether it's collaboration, organization, or feedbackโ€”and try out different platforms to see what works best for you. Joining forums or groups related to writing can also lead to discovering new tools tailored for improving your writing journey.

โ€ข Google Docs (free & easy to use) โ€ข Word โ€ข Obsidian (best for plotting and in depth analysis) โ€ข Dabble Writer (best formatting and task goal but it is a subscription) Iโ€™d love to try: โ€ข Scrivener (Iโ€™m just afraid to pay for it fully and never use it). โ€ข Wavemaker (heard itโ€™s good for formatting but havenโ€™t heard enough to convince me)
