The man I have now is not the same man anyone ever had before me. Not because he changed for me, but because being with the right woman brings out a different man. That’s how you know, when he rises instead of resists, when love makes him softer, stronger, steadier, and when he shows up with intention, consistency, and peace.

This is the man I prayed for long before I knew his name, and somehow, life gave me more than I ever imagined.

It has been half a decade, and he is still everything I could ever want or need.
