One thing I quickly learned is that adherence to both the physical and mental tasks is crucial. For those not familiar, the 75 Hard Challenge requires following strict rules for 75 days: two workouts a day (one must be outdoors), sticking to a diet with no cheat meals, drinking a gallon of water daily, reading personal development books, and taking progress photos. Personally, my nutrition choices have been a big focus. I tried Peanut Butter Overnight Oats as a quick, nutritious breakfast—a great balance of protein and carbs that keeps me energized. For a post-workout snack, I tested a protein bar but found the taste to be just mid-level, so I’m exploring other options like homemade shakes or natural snacks that better suit my palate. Meal prepping has been a key strategy, helping me stay on track without getting tempted by less healthy choices. For example, I made a green chile chicken dish with a flavorful sauce, which I enjoyed overall though the chicken itself was a bit bland, highlighting how important seasoning can be when sticking to clean eating. The mental toughness aspect of the challenge really hits daily. Some days are easier than others; motivation fluctuates, and obstacles like technical issues (such as videos not uploading) can be frustrating. However, sharing progress with a supportive community adds a layer of accountability that keeps me pushing forward. To anyone considering this challenge, I'd say prepare yourself for intense discipline but also for personal growth. Documenting your journey, even through simple photos and honest reflections, makes a big difference. It's not just about weight loss, but transforming habits, mindset, and resilience. I encourage fellow challengers to embrace the struggle and celebrate the small victories—they add up to big changes.
