NYC Fall! 🍁✨

Today’s painting of the day is a couple of seasonally decorated apartments inspired by the buildings of NYC ✨🚕

Materials:

- White crafting paper 📕

- Pencil (to sketch outline) ✏️

- Acrylic paints and easel 🎨

- Paint brushes 🖌️

- Scissors ✂️

How I made it:

First I sketched out the building (inspired by the one from the photo)✏️ Then I painted the buildings, then added the tree, followed by the windows and details! I then cut it out to make it a decoration ✨🥰

What building would you like to see next? 🤔🌃

... Read moreAs fall approaches, many art enthusiasts look for inspiration to capture the beauty of the season through painting. New York City, with its vibrant streets and iconic architecture, serves as a perfect muse for artists. This painting project showcases how you can bring NYC's autumn charm into your home decor using acrylic paints on crafting paper. To embark on your own NYC fall painting journey, gather essential materials such as white crafting paper, a pencil for outlining, acrylic paints, brushes, scissors, and an easel. Begin by sketching your favorite building, inspired by NYC's rich architectural landscape. Once the outline is complete, fill in the colors that reflect the fall ambiance. Think of warm oranges, deep reds, and golden yellows that mimic the changing leaves. Add details like windows or seasonal elements such as trees to enhance your cityscape. The goal is to create personal decorations that resonate with the fall aesthetic. Feel free to explore various building designs and share what you create. Engage with the artistic community for feedback and inspiration! Not only is this project an excellent way to decorate your space for the season, but it also reflects your artistic vision inspired by the heart of NYC.
