That was my first one ever btw
Starting my fitness journey with a single push-up was both intimidating and empowering. I used to think that doing multiple push-ups was impossible for me—something reflected in the words I saw in my own mind: "Can't do multiple push ups" and feeling like my "grown age" was holding me back. However, I soon realized that physical fitness is less about age or initial ability and more about consistency and gradual progress. When I did my first push-up, I could barely complete one with good form. But instead of giving up, I embraced the discomfort and made it a daily goal to improve. I noticed that breaking the exercise down into manageable sets and focusing on proper technique helped me build both strength and confidence. Along the way, I learned the importance of listening to my body and incorporating rest days to avoid injury. Strength training with push-ups also improved my overall energy levels and posture. Now, I’m able to do several push-ups in a row, something I never thought possible before. For anyone struggling to start or progress with push-ups, my advice is to celebrate small wins, stay patient, and remember that progress is personal. The journey from "can't do multiple push ups" to gaining real strength is achievable for everyone, no matter your age or starting point.
