... Read moreManaging PCOS effectively requires a combination of dietary, supplemental, and lifestyle changes that can significantly improve fertility outcomes. From my experience, focusing on nutrition was essential. Drinking black soy milk from the end of your period until ovulation, and then switching to yellow soy milk post-ovulation, provided a good source of protein and supported hormone balance. Limiting refined sugars and carbohydrates helped stabilize insulin levels, which is crucial for PCOS management. Incorporating a supplement like myo-inositol, particularly in the ratio of 40:1 myo- and d-chiro-inositol as found in products such as Runica inositol, can support hormone regulation and promote healthy follicle development. This supplement was a game changer for addressing irregular ovulation and menstrual cycles in my journey. Post-intercourse practices also made a difference. Depending on the uterus position, lying still with hips slightly elevated after intercourse helps the sperm reach the uterus more effectively—30 minutes of rest for an anteverted uterus, or elevating legs against a wall for 15-20 minutes if retroverted. Maintaining a warm and relaxed body environment is beneficial, so soaking feet every two days provided soothing warmth and relaxation, especially outside of menstruation. Gentle daily exercise such as jogging and yoga enhanced pelvic flexibility, helped maintain a healthy weight, and reduced stress without the risks of heavy weightlifting or intense workouts which can negatively impact hormone balance. Through these gradual and consistent adjustments, it’s possible to achieve a healthier hormonal balance and increase the chance of conception even with PCOS. Taking small but meaningful steps each day empowered me on my fertility journey, and I hope these tips can inspire others facing similar challenges.

An image on a dark background lists three types of 'demons': Spiritual (fear, chaos), Inner (shame, trauma), and Environmental (draining vibes), each with an icon. It advises discerning the difference, noting some need prayer and spiritual strength, while others require healing, boundaries, and self-love.
