Okay, so you've seen my little GMod cooking disaster with Sundrop, right? It was hilarious watching that 'sun' literally get cooked! But seriously, if you're like me and love messing around in GMod, you might be wondering about actual GMod cooking mods or how to create your own culinary chaos. While there isn't one single 'official' GMod cooking mod that simulates a full kitchen experience like in a dedicated cooking game, the beauty of Garry's Mod is its endless sandbox potential. You can totally cobble together your own cooking adventures! I've spent hours trying to make the most ridiculous food-related contraptions, and trust me, things often go wonderfully wrong – which is half the fun! One of my favorite ways to 'cook' in GMod is by using various prop packs. You can find tons of food props, kitchen appliances, and even character models like our pal Sundrop from FNAF. Imagine setting up a gourmet kitchen, only to have a rogue combine soldier attempt to bake a cake with a rocket launcher! Or, if you're into the more destructive side, you can use explosives and fire effects to create a truly 'fiery' cooking experience. Who needs a stove when you have a prop spawner and a few incendiary grenades? Just make sure you save your map before things get too out of hand! I've seen some incredible creations on the Steam Workshop for GMod that, while not explicitly 'cooking mods,' offer tools that can be used for it. For example, some physics-based contraptions can 'mix' ingredients, or you can use material tools to make food items appear cooked or burnt. My personal 'cooking mod' often involves the 'Advanced Duplicator' to quickly set up elaborate kitchen scenes, and then the 'Physics Gun' to, well, make a mess! For those who want to recreate their own 'Sun's cooking gone wrong' moment, grabbing some FNAF models is a must. Positioning Sundrop next to a flaming barrel or a malfunctioning stove (made from other props, of course) can lead to some epic screenshots and video clips. It’s all about creativity and embracing the absurdity that GMod offers. Trying to make a perfect meal usually ends in disaster, but a beautiful disaster is still a success in GMod! Have any of you tried creating your own GMod cooking scenarios? What are your favorite 'ingredients' or 'appliances' to use? I'm always looking for new ideas to make the next GMod cooking mod fail even more spectacular. Let me know your tips for turning a simple kitchen setup into an explosive culinary catastrophe!
